The best way to improve your state instantly without using any stimulant is by doing something called Imitation Game. You are feeling depressed, tired and totally in the mind while wondering how painful and difficult the world can be.
Fortunately I got some excellent life changing news for you. Just implement the Imitation Game at any level and you will immediately see some changes and if you know how to do it right, you will notice some outstanding shift in a couple of seconds or less.
Imitation game is basically imitating someone or something like for example a job, an animal, an athlete, any creature that comes into your mind or in front of you (which is easier especially when you are tired). I know that sounds weird but looking like an idiot or a crazy person (mildly speaking) in public is what actually detached you from your ego/mind (all those labels from social conditioning) and automatically life appears different.
You might be thinking that it might be daunting task at first especially if there are a lot of people. Welcome to the club. Start small. Do a simple basic movement like moving the foot or the hand and repeat. The key is to repeat. Do increase little by little until there is a bigger change. Actually the more people, the better. Alternatively get close to someone and start imitating him or her, anyone.
Remember: Self Actualised people are independent of the good opinions of others. I know that sounds foolish but your results is directly proportional to your state, and it is our decision to choose. Why not choose something which will bring us remarkable success? :)

I agree with the fact that doing something stupid infront of others detaches you from your ego. But unfortunately Mauritius is a small country where it is easy to meet someone more than once. The label put on someone doing something crazy can have lasting damages and be a threat to a person's professional career.
ReplyDeleteGood article by the way, clear and concise english (Y)
ReplyDeleteExactly, character is more important than reputation. We don't have to do something stupid Ismael but rather doing something out of our comfort zone in public, like for instance talking to people or groups of people that make us uncomfortable. One thing you could try is joining some insurance company part time or something, and getting this awesome opportunity to talk to a lot of people, reflect and learn how to improve your set of skills. Perfect practise makes perfect like Shiv Khera usually says.
